We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join a vibrant healthcare team in the Midwest region. In this role, you will be instrumental in diagnosing and monitoring heart conditions by performing high-quality echocardiographic imaging. Collaborating closely with cardiologists and other medical professionals, your expertise will help guide patient care and treatment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform adult echocardiograms, including exercise and pharmacological stress tests, transesophageal, and limited pediatric studies, following established protocols. Utilize 2D, color flow, spectral Doppler imaging, and ultrasound enhancing agents to capture detailed cardiac images. Evaluate cardiac disease states by interpreting hemodynamic data and accurately measuring echocardiographic structures. Input diagnostic data into cardiac reporting systems and communicate critical findings to the healthcare team. Provide compassionate patient education and support to ensure comfort and understanding during procedures. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in cardiac ultrasound technology and best practices. Education and Certification:

Associate's degree in a relevant field or completion of an accredited echocardiography program. Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Adult Echocardiography (AE) through ARDMS or as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or registry eligibility upon hire with commitment to certification within 12 months. Experience and Skills:

Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and ultrasound technology. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Physical capability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations. Reliable attendance and willingness to participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
