Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT/Diagnostic Technologist who is fully competent in performing all CT and radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures essential for diagnosing various diseases and conditions. This role requires ARRT certification, with an advanced ARRT (CT) registry to be obtained within one year of hire to maintain employment.
Certifications:
American Heart Association CPR certification will be provided through internal training programs.
Experience:
A minimum of two years of experience is preferred; however, new graduates who are ARRT registered or registry eligible are encouraged to apply. New graduates must obtain ARRT Radiography registration within twelve months of hire.
Skills and Abilities:
Candidates must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Providing compassionate patient care is essential, with an understanding of growth and development across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The technologist must be able to communicate effectively, possess dexterity and visual acuity, and have the physical ability to assume awkward positions, respond to emergencies, stand and walk for extended periods, bend, and lift as necessary. The position may involve contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Work Environment:
This full-time role includes weekend shifts and is based in a regional medical center serving the Southeastern United States.
