Director of Revenue Cycle
opportunity near Baton Rouge, LA. This organization has a leadership team of visionaries among the best in the business and a focus on a commitment to quality service to its patients.
The Director of Revenue Cycle Management will be responsible for assembling and leading a high-performing team and deploying a customer centric approach to the revenue cycle components. This role is responsible for optimizing revenue performance, ensuring accurate and timely billing, and maintaining knowledge of and compliance with all relevant regulations, as well as developing institutional and industry knowledge to represent the organization with State and federal healthcare regulators.
Director of Revenue Cycle
Details: Develops long-range strategic plans for systems and processes that support a high performing, patient-centered revenue cycle Leads initiatives to resolve problematic trends and process questions to resolve difficult account issues as needed Manages meetings with client leadership for metric, performance and review Responsible for directing all billing functions including billing, collections, denials, payment review, cash posting, refunds and customer service Develops strategies to identify root cause surrounding client issues and concerns and works with revenue cycle or onsite leadership at client site to create processes to address those issues and potential improvements Oversees the daily results of billing metrics including minimizing amounts in AR Director of Revenue Cycle Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Management, Accounting, Finance or other related specialty; MBA preferred in finance or healthcare 10-15 years of RCM experience 5+ years of RCM management experience Highly proficient knowledge of medical billing and federal/state regulations, terms, and compliance for billing, coding, and collections.
