About The Position Job Title: Pharmacist Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacy Duration: 13 Shift: 22:00-08:30 Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RPh in North Carolina Certifications: ACLS if working in Emergency Department, but not required Must-Have: - Hospital experience - Experience overseeing the work of technicians Description: The organization is a flagship hospital, licensed for 815 beds. It is recognized for providing high clinical quality year over year. The hospital has achieved a national recognition for patient safety. It earned the prestigious Magnet Designation for nursing excellence. The facility serves as a referral center for various specialized services. The organization has a busy robotic surgery program. It provides critical care processes like open heart and interventional cardiology. Candidates should have broad experience in pediatric and adult pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities include overseeing technician staff and verifying orders. Candidates must have experience in clinical documentation and operational needs. Preferred experience includes Emergency Department and familiarity with specific EMR systems. Ideal candidates should be adaptable and handle high-stress environments. A positive attitude and the ability to multitask are essential. The position involves a 7 on 7 off rotation, including weekends.
