CNC Lathe Operators

to fill positions on both 1st and 2nd shifts. Applicants must possess at least 5 years of experience within the Aerospace industry. The nature of the projects will vary, so adaptability is essential. Highlights and Benefits Eligible for quarterly profit-sharing bonus from day one Generous paid time-off policies 401(k) with matching contributions from the company Paid holidays to enjoy with your loved ones Tuition and professional development reimbursement Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Optional HSA with company contributions Extensive opportunities for career advancement Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC Lathe equipment to manufacture complex, high-tolerance components Prove out new and existing programs for operators Edit programs and adjust machine settings as necessary Modify feeds and speeds based on specifications Perform first piece inspections in accordance with blueprints Conduct light preventative maintenance daily to ensure machine efficacy Provide input and collaborate on machining approaches related to materials and components Adhere to customer and company specifications in all tasks Assist in training new personnel as needed Conceptualize fixture and tool designs Maintain a clean and organized work area Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of CNC precision machining experience, specifically in the Aerospace sector Proficient with Fanuc, Siemens, and/or Heidenhain controllers Familiar with mill equipment, such as Okuma Ability to perform shop math calculations easily Experience working with prototypes and unique parts Computer literacy is essential Programming skills are beneficial but not required Demonstrated history of consistent employment Competence in using standard measuring tools for inspections Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Solid understanding of GD&T; can read and interpret technical drawings Comprehensive knowledge of machining techniques, cutting tools, feeds and speeds, and insert life Willing to demonstrate practical skills on the machine Able to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision Open to working overtime when necessary Approach work with a positive, creative, and collaborative mindset Compensation: Starting wage is $35.00 per hour Paragon Precision Group adheres to all relevant export control laws, including the ITAR.
