This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and matching 401k!
Pay Range: $100 - $125K (depending on experience)
Shift is Mon-Friday with occasional Saturdays
Responsibilities for Cabling Project Manager:
Experience installing Low Voltage CAT 5, CAT 6, CAT 6A and fiber connections.
Performing job walk throughs and estimating/quote
Oversee projects and team members to meet customer satisfaction
Identify and close new sales opportunities
Installation of and working with fiber and copper cable, related transport equipment, and all critical infrastructures within.
Installation and troubleshooting of a variety of telecommunications products, including but are not limited to routers, switches, modems, Ethernet, and Ethernet backhaul communications products.
Install data infrastructure including but not limited to Phone Systems, cabling, and termination of coax, copper, fiber optics, and related materials.
Setup terminals and racks; install data equipment and label of all installed wiring and equipment.
Ability to make patch panel terminations, conduct cable testing, make network jack connections, install data racks, terminate fiber optic cabling, and make fiber connections.
Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems and associated equipment.
Qualifications for Cabling Project Manager :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
AA degree from Community College
RCDD Certification a plus
BICSI certification a plus.
Experience: 5-7 years of installing cabling and data equipment, Installing/terminating backbone and horizontal cabling, both copper and fiber. Knowledge of TIA/EIA standards.
1-2 years of quote /estimator duties
3-5 years’ experience in quoting, managing projects and managing technicians
Have transportation to go to job sites
and maintain a clean driving record.
Ability to work OT or weekends if needed for customer projects
