Job Title: Maintenance Lead
* Must be strong in electrical and mechanical maintenance
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Lead to ensure the smooth operation of machines, building systems, and equipment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in industrial maintenance and capable of performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Responsibilities
Use a variety of tools, including common hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and electronic testing devices.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to maintain machine functionality and building efficiency.
Repair or replace defective equipment parts and reassemble equipment as necessary.
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions, referencing blueprints and manuals.
Order necessary parts and equipment from suppliers or storerooms.
Install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, and machinery.
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
Understand the environmental aspects and impacts of area activities.
Adhere to all environmental and safety policies and programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
Experience with 240v-480v panels or as an electrician
5+ years of experience in repairing electrical or mechanical equipment.
Skills in installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Welding and machining skills are optional but beneficial.
Familiarity with hand tools, fitting, welding, schematics, motors, MIG welding, and boiler maintenance.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr.
