Position Overview
We are seeking a Branch Manager to lead the daily operations of a building materials distribution branch. This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who wants to manage a location as if it were their own. The Branch Manager is responsible for profitability, team leadership, customer satisfaction, inventory control, and overall branch success.
Key Responsibilities Oversee daily branch operations and ensure smooth workflow Hire, train, and develop team members Maintain safe business practices and compliance with regulations Build and maintain strong customer relationships Drive branch growth and profitability through sales and operational efficiency Manage purchasing, inventory, and cost controls Oversee showroom and product merchandising Supervise logistics, warehouse operations, and fleet management Minimize damage and loss through effective controls Implement and enforce company policies and procedures Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred At least 2 years of management experience, ideally in building material distribution, construction supply, or a related industry Familiarity with residential and commercial roofing, windows, doors, or exterior siding a strong plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities High level of integrity and professionalism Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing
