is seeking an experienced
Vehicle Reconditioning Technician
to join our team at Southfork CDJR. As the Reconditioning Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles to recondition for sale. For the mechanical reconditioning process, you will perform and document the results of general vehicle repair.

Inspect, diagnose, and recondition vehicles. Inspect vehicle for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation. Perform micro repairs to vehicle accessories and peripheral components. Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices. Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot-and -stain-resistant chemicals. Check air pressure in tires, check motor oil, transmission, radiator, and other fluids. Adjust air, oil, water, or other fluids, as required. Repair minor windshield damage and restore headlights. Clean engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents. Apply special-purpose cleaners and solvents to remove foreign materials, which normal cleaning procedures do not remove. Restore appearance of engine area, rugs, upholstery, and painted surfaces. Recognize and report to supervisor any required extensive repair to major systems or components. Providing and utilizing personal tools and equipment. Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Retail experience preferred Valid Driver's Licenses and acceptable driving record Successful completion of pre-employment screening Authorization to work in the USA
