Overview
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate day-to-day warehouse activities on assigned shifts. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, picking, staging, and dispatch of goods; maintaining accurate inventory; and leading a frontline team to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals while delivering excellent internal and external customer service.

Employee is required to perform an abundance of physical manual labor. Must be able to work at heights, within enclosed/confined spaces, in noisy environments with moving equipment and in adverse climatic conditions. The employee is constantly required to stand, reach forward, balance, handle objects, operate controls and perform simple and firm hand grasping including twisting and pinching. The employee is frequently required to squat, stoop, crouch, kneel, and reach overhead. The employee must frequently pull up to 130 pounds, push, pull and lift up to 110 pounds and carry up to 55 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to sit (while being lifted in basket), crawl, grasp, exercise eye-hand coordination, exercise repetitive wrist motion. The employee is required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Lead daily warehouse operations for your shift, including receiving, putaway, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping Assign labor, set priorities, and monitor performance to meet throughput, accuracy, and on-time targets Coach, train, and develop warehouse associates; conduct start-of-shift huddles and safety talks Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies; complete incident/near-miss reporting Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, root-cause investigation, and WMS adjustments to minimize shrinkage Verify documentation (ASNs, BOLs, packing lists) and ensure proper labeling, staging, and load verification Partner with logistics/transportation, procurement, and customer service to meet cutoffs and resolve exceptions Utilize WMS/ERP and RF scanners; troubleshoot basic transaction issues and ensure data integrity Oversee equipment care (forklifts, pallet jacks) and submit/track maintenance requests Track and report shift KPIs (throughput, accuracy, damages, labor hours, OT) and recommend process improvements What you will need:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's/Bachelor's in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred 3+ years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills with a focus on accountability and coaching Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities; able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically active work (standing, walking, bending) for extended periods Current forklift/PIT certification or ability to obtain within 30 days; OSHA 10/30, Lean/5S experience a plus
