Job Summary
Bern's Fine Wines & Spirits (https://www.bernsfinewines.com/)
store associate is expected to interact with customers, knowledgeably represent product, and keep the store inventory organized, clean and safe.
This is a front of the house job that involves a significant amount of customer interaction and relationship building with regular clientele. You would be working with a small staff affiliated with Bern’s Company, inside a Marriott Autograph hotel property.
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Must be capable of learning the Lightspeed Retail and Ecommerce system, and continuously maintain the upkeep of said systems.
·Full understanding of entering all products into lightspeed.
·Monthly inventory.
Responsible for order check-ins and stock put up according to SOP.
Retrieval of inventory from sister properties.
Understanding of distribution and local and state liquor laws.
Issuing and Redemption of company gift cards.
Constantly educated on current products and market trends for awareness.
Helping customers navigate through the wine shop
Qualifications and Skills
Basic knowledge of wine and spirits and in store inventory
Good hygiene and professional attire
Excellent customer service and communication
Must be able to lift 25lbs.
Stand on feet for extended periods of time
