Travel Anesthesia Technician - $1,182 per week in Portland, OR

Job Title: Anesthesia Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Anesthesia Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Required Certifications: ACLS, ASATT, BLS, Cer.A.T Must-Have: - Experience in all adult surgical specialties except open heart and organ transplant. - Experience with cell salvage of RBCs or cell saving. - Experience running point-of-care tests such as ABGs, ACTs, and CBGs. - Experience setting up arterial lines and hot lines. - Experience with dual lumen tube insertion and assisting with arterial, central line, and lumbar drain insertion. Description: Position requires 2 years of experience. Candidates must be able to float between hospital units and potentially to nearby facilities. Call is required one weeknight a week and one weekend every fifth weekend. Weekends are required. The expected patient care ratio is 1:1. Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory. Candidates must have experience providing care for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients. This role does not allow for first-time travelers. Inflexibility with the contracted schedule may lead to termination of the assignment. A vehicle is necessary for this position. Ensuring a commitment to work three of the five major holidays is required. All requests for time off must be made upfront during the application process.
