Summary
The Production Manager oversees the productivity and safety operation of assembly lines, planning and managing short and long-term objectives for assembly production and providing capacity and labor planning. This role will work for MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC. (MNAe).
About MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC.
MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) is a tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE Systems, which are key parts to produce electric vehicles based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.
To supply BSA and PE systems for three major hubs of HMG Group in North America:
Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA)
Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA)
KIA Auto-land Georgia (KaGA)
MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC operates the BSA1 plant in Montgomery County, Alabama, and the BSA2 plant and PE system in Bryan County, GA, are operated.
MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC was established on October 7, 2022. Using the cooperative effort of our team members, MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC can provide parts for over 1,300 vehicles a day.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
Plan short and long-term objectives for the Production department
Provide capacity and labor planning for all manufacturing departments
Coordinate continuous improvement teams to achieve division goals in productivity improvements, quality improvements, and safety goals
Coordinate corrective action planning to ensure effective root cause analysis and proper implementation of improvement methods
Teach continuous improvement philosophy through monthly training
Provide conflict resolution for and coach Team Members
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental goals
Ensure departmental compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety rules
Oversee and provide counseling on proper progressive discipline per company policies
Initiate reporting systems to monitor department performance
Minimize overtime of all assigned Team Members
Plan and conduct continuous improvement training of supervisory personnel
Maintain personnel headcount according to the business plan
Conduct annual evaluations (MBO) of supervisory personnel
Follow and promote safety in the workplace, including attendance at safety meetings as well as conducting safety meetings when necessary

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
+ 5 years of management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong Leadership skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to take decisive action in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

Working Conditions : Office setting, repetitive standing, walking within and between buildings.
