Maintenance Technician II Opportunity
We're seeking a Maintenance Technician II to work with Conagra, one of the nation's leading food manufacturing companies, located in Indianapolis, IN. Opportunity to work with a globally recognized food manufacturer known for quality and innovation. Competitive pay rates: 1st Shift (Training): $32.92/hr. (MondayFriday, 6 AM6 PM, 48 weeks) 2nd Shift (Regular): $33.42/hr. (MondayFriday, 9 PM6 AM) 6-month contract with potential for extension. Hands-on, engaging role in a safe, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment. Gain valuable maintenance and automation experience in the food manufacturing industry. A typical day as a Maintenance Technician II will involve: Troubleshooting and maintaining a wide range of industrial systems including frequency drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, servo motors, refrigeration (NH3), boilers, and HVAC systems. Performing preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure reliable plant operations. Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and electrical issues using technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals. Maintaining accurate records and inventories and keeping your work area organized and compliant with safety and food quality standards. Collaborating with production and engineering teams to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime. Working independently with minimal supervision while following safety and company protocols. This job might be an outstanding fit if you have: A 2-year technical degree or equivalent hands-on maintenance experience. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing setting. Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and control systems. Familiarity with food manufacturing standards, sanitary design, and Six Sigma / 5S principles. The ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals. Experience using precision tools and diagnostic equipment. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
