Job Description: The Invasive Cardiovascular Technician plays a crucial role in advanced Cardiac and Vascular procedures, performing at a high technical and professional level with minimal supervision. This position involves making independent judgments and taking initiative in assigned areas and procedures. St. Vincent Regional Hospital As an Invasive Cardiovascular Technician at Intermountain Health, you will be pivotal in ensuring our patients receive exceptional care. Our facility is equipped with 2 Cath Labs, 1 Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, 1 Vascular Suite, and a Hybrid Operating Room, conducting about 350 diverse procedures each month: Cardiac Procedures: Diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, including Impella support. Electrophysiology: Complex arrhythmia ablations, including SVT and atrial fibrillation, utilizing advanced technologies. Structural Heart Interventions: TAVR, Triclip, MitraClip, and closures of ASD and PFO. Vascular Procedures: Endovascular and peripheral interventions, including EVAR, TAVAR, and TEVAR. Our labs feature advanced imaging systems and hemodynamic monitoring setups by Philips and GE Mac-Lab, ensuring precision and efficiency in every procedure. Join expert teams utilizing cutting-edge technologies like Pnumbra and Shockwave systems while fostering a collaborative environment with Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, and Surgeons. Your Responsibilities Include: Providing critical technical support during invasive cardiovascular and interventional procedures. Assisting in radiological imaging, maintaining sterile conditions, and documenting procedure images and events. Educating patients and families about procedures and handling their expectations. Ensuring cleanliness and orderliness of the unit and managing stock levels for complex procedures. Participating in quality and patient safety initiatives and identifying areas for improvement within patient care processes. Minimum Qualifications: Current Basic Life Support certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers. Current ARRT (with Montana State Radiologic Technologist license) or RCIS certification. Physical Requirements: This role requires the ability to see and read information, assess patient needs, and manipulate intricate equipment.
