Travel MRI Tech - $2,326 per week in Wichita, KS

Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: MRI Technologist Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: ARRT MRI Registered Certifications: None required Must-Have: Candidates must be MRI registered with the ARRT. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience. Description: This position involves travel as an MRI Tech. The unit handles approximately 15-16 exams per day. There are currently 3 techs stationed in the unit. The staff schedule includes a 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM tech from Monday to Friday and a mid-shift from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM Monday to Friday. The position available is for the 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift, Monday through Friday. Patient ratios consist mainly of outpatient exams with 3-4 inpatient exams daily and a few emergency department exams weekly. The equipment used includes a GE 450 wide bore scanner along with Meditech EMR and FUJI PACS. Typical procedures performed include routine exams of extremities, brain, and spine, both with and without contrast. Abdominal studies and MRI prostates are also conducted. Sedated patients, anesthesia cases, and cardiac cases are not handled in this unit. Technologists are responsible for transporting patients to and from the unit. Ideal candidates will work well in a small group setting and enjoy working in a smaller facility. The dress code requires all-black scrubs.
