Industry Real Estate Type Privately Held About the Role We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Finance and Acquisitions to join our team. This vital position will lead our finance and acquisition efforts, playing a pivotal role in our organization. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in underwriting and financing multifamily real estate investments as well as development projects. Proven experience in cash flow modeling, acquisitions, and valuations is essential. The SVP will be instrumental in assembling comprehensive offering memoranda and will engage with brokers, lenders, and both equity and debt partners within a fast-paced environment. A background in institutional finance is crucial, particularly in communication, execution, and deliverables. Successful candidates will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, outstanding problem-solving and analytical capabilities, as well as effective time management. While a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, an MBA would be a significant asset. We are seeking a results-driven, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated team player with a minimum of 5 years' experience in real estate finance, underwriting, asset management, or acquisitions. Technical proficiency is necessary, particularly with Argus, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint. This role demands strong organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities, as well as the skill to prepare detailed offering memoranda/packages for equity partners and lenders, and to implement an effective underwriting process for multifamily acquisitions and developments.
