The Equipment Coordinator's main function is the daily monitoring, planning, and management of all equipment assets within the scope of the company's guidelines and procedures. To ensure operational efficiency while monitoring costs to minimize expenditures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Monitor equipment inventories daily and determine needs based on provided factors Closely monitor and report on idling, damaged, and missing assets Communicate and work closely with other departments and external vendors to fulfill required duties Help truckers, shippers, and sales with equipment issues and assist in helping them acquire equipment Prepare, monitor, and analyze weekly reports as set forth by management in line with KPIs In-depth review and strict invoice auditing of vendors and dispute discrepancies Report directly to the department manager QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Must have good Interpersonal skills and good communication skills both verbal and written Must be a self-starter and able to work individually and in a team environment Be able to handle heavy email traffic EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
College degree preferred or High School Diploma + equivalent combination of education and work experience, but not required Any industry experience a plus but not required KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of Logistics, Transportation, or fleet management a plus Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Excel / Word) Must be able to multi-task and problem-solve

Additional Details:
The pay range listed for this position is the anticipated starting salary or wage range, and the final offered rate will be based on individual merit and the relative compensation of employees in similar positions. HMM employee benefits include highly subsidized individual and family insurance coverage (medical, dental and vision), term life and disability insurance, 401(k) employer matching contributions, paid holidays, and up to 10 vacation days and six sick days in the first year.
