Maintenance Technician | Ogden, UT

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining essential equipment. Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance

• Lubricate and inspect all motors daily or as required to prevent breakdowns

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program

• Provide on-call maintenance support during production hours to minimize downtime

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of critical parts and equipment

• Research and order replacement parts, ensuring cost-effective purchasing

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and work areas in compliance with GMP/ISO standards

• Collaborate with managers and production teams to identify and address maintenance needs

• Assist with production operations and product handling as needed

• Participate in facility remodeling projects and provide technical support

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

• Ability to operate electrical and electronic test equipment

• Skilled in the repair and maintenance of mechanical and production equipment

• Proficient with power tools and basic hand tools

• Experience performing preventative maintenance on HVAC systems

• Welding experience (stainless steel )

• Boiler operations certification a plus

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety procedures

• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems

• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals, powder mineral products, and hazardous materials

• Able to work in confined spaces and dirty environments when needed

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects regularly

• Must complete annual fit testing, maintain a clean-shaven state for respirator use, and obtain medical clearance

Pay

$24.00–$27.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday – Friday | 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
