Job Description
SUMMARY
Support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) warehousing program at Fort Belvoir, VA. Provide critical logistics support to ensure the effective management, accountability, and readiness of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), Contractor Acquired Property (CAP), and specialized assets vital to safeguarding government information systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to updating logistical processes and integrating current industry standards, ensuring accountability, transportation, and lifecycle management of equipment in support of mission operations. Maintain 100% accountability for all equipment, materials, and parts associated with the contract. Support logistical program requirements in coordination with cross-functional areas such as training, operations, procurement, and financial management. Maintain accurate chain-of-custody documentation to track transfer and possession of equipment between the Government and Contractor. Track and report Purchase Requests in coordination with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and Budget Analyst, including shipment status for approved requisitions. Assist the Government Logistics Specialist with the management of GFE and Contractor Managed Equipment (CME). Develop and maintain operational and maintenance logistics support plans, providing recommendations based on evaluation of alternative courses of action. Serve as a liaison between vendors, freight/shipping companies, and Government logistics personnel to facilitate timely and accurate delivery of equipment. Communicate effectively with internal teams, customer stakeholders, and external partners to resolve logistical issues and maintain mission readiness. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a team of supply technicians and warehouse staff.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree with six (6) to eight (8) years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with two (2) to five (5) years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance prior to start (generally, U.S. Citizenship required). Experience with commercial carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, or equivalent) for normal and special shipments. Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Prior military logistics or supply chain experience. Experience with DPAS or other logistics/asset management systems. Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. Experience with project and time management; ability to work independently and collaboratively. WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed primarily in a warehouse and office environment. The role may involve working around forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Employees may encounter varying temperatures, noise, dust, grease, and other typical warehouse conditions. The position requires frequent interaction with internal teams, vendors, and government personnel to ensure timely and accurate logistical support.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment or materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE
Pay range: $85,000 to $100,000 per year. Eligible Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & AD&D Insurance, Long-Term & Short-Term Disability Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Paid Time Off (PTO), 11 Paid Federal Holidays, and Leave of Absence.
