Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and either registered or registry-eligible with completion in 12 months for computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure as required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification. ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) Registered Radiologic Technologist BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card in-hand before start date; must be valid for at least 60 days from hire. Role Overview: Deliver exceptional patient care by performing various imaging and radiologic procedures at the highest professional standard. Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes. Mentor and precept newcomers to the imaging field and UCHealth. Embrace opportunities to learn and adapt within a fast-paced, innovative clinical setting. Ensure safety and quality of care at every interaction. Key Responsibilities: Assess patient history and initiate CT imaging per physician orders, ensuring clear procedural education to foster cooperation. Safely administer contrast media and monitor patient conditions throughout the process. Identify and report any changes in patient status as necessary. Utilize established best practices in Radiology (AART) for optimal image clarity and equipment functionality.
