Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Non Profit About the Role The organization is on the lookout for a dynamic Vice President for Hospital Pharmacy Services to expertly manage and enhance pharmaceutical operations across various hospital pharmacy departments. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure adherence to regulatory standards, and spearhead the development of cost-efficient initiatives that elevate pharmacy operations while improving patient care quality. This pivotal position requires a collaborative approach with division and facility leadership to advance pharmacy practices and achieve strategic objectives, while also providing insight in clinical services, operations, and expense management. Required qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, with an advanced degree (Doctor of Pharmacy, MBA, or MS) preferred, and a current pharmacist license or the ability to obtain state licensure within six months. Candidates should possess a minimum of 7 years of pharmacy leadership experience, with 10 years preferred. Strong analytical capabilities, proven leadership and collaboration skills, and a track record in developing cost-effective pharmacy initiatives are essential. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are a must, alongside demonstrated expertise in pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and financial management. The Vice President will be tasked with formulating strategic recommendations for advancing medication management and ensuring that pharmacy services are in line with the overall organizational goals.
