Shift Details: M-F, 8+ hours per day, 40+ hours per week and weekends during peak season or as needed!

The Food Safety & Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for developing, planning and assisting the Quality Assurance Manager in the QA and Food Safety activities in support of Kettle Cuisine's quality assurance operations and goals. Ensuring that company standards are exceeded with a targeted emphasis on continuous improvement, providing support, structure and documented formalized training for employees within the organization in all areas. The position requires a hands-on, self-starter with the ability to motivate and lead subordinates and others on the second shift. The Quality Assurance Supervisor must be a skilled communicator who can convey information, ideas and policy to all levels within the organization. In the absence of the FS&QA Supervisor, the duties will be performed by either the Quality Assurance Manager or Director or as prescribed by the company's organizational chart.

Role and Responsibilities: Organize and Coordinate QA activities of the second shift respective Teams Serve as Food Safety Management System Team Leader to ensure the training of Food Safety Team Members, ensure that the Food Safety System is established, implemented, maintained; Prerequisite Programs, HACCP and HARPC (Preventive Controls), GMPs, SSOPs, GFSI, USDA, NOP and GFCO guidelines and policies are adhered to Lead the internal auditing program Ensure audit readiness for all Internal Quality Audits, SQF, GFCO, FDA, USDA, NOP and all other 3rdParty audits, and respond to findings with Preventive and Corrective Actions Lead the execution of cultural changes and activities needed to support Continuous Improvement and QA&FS Initiatives on the second shift Provide day-to-day leadership to QA&FS Departments and act as the primary liaison to outside laboratories, and to external regulatory agencies (FDA, USDA) Ensure effective review, monitoring of QA and Production Records and escalate as needed Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with frontline employees, peers, and executives Ability to drive positive change in both processes and systems and culture Track, analyze, and lead initiatives for all quality and customer complaint issues within the plant-dashboard rollup Support Interviewing processes Key Responsibilities:

Participate in Foreign Material & Customer Complaints investigations Actively work with Operations to reduce Customer Complaints trends QA Program Implementation Mentor and Develop QA Technicians Apply corrective actions in a timely manner when needed Lead and participate in product disposition assessments Collaborate with all the departments Investigate non-conformances and internal deviations Ensure internal programs are being followed as instructed Scheduling, Timecard Review and Approval Maintain deployment schedule, assign staff and resources when necessary As A Leader Within the Kettle Cuisine Team You Are Expected To:

BS Degree in Food Science is preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Food Industry or related industry 2 to 3 years in quality supervisory role Demonstrated excellence in driving consistently strong profitable sales growth Experience working on Quality Assurance Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills Strong Microsoft Office skills HACCP & PCQI Certified SQF, USDA and FDA experience is preferred Knowledge of Statistical Process Control, HACCP, Sanitation, and Hygienic design Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and Strong Defect Root Cause Analysis process Financial and business acumen Required Attributes:
