Role Overview:
We are seeking a polished, versatile, and highly attentive individual to serve as a
Gallery Host & Security
at our Austin gallery. This key role blends security responsibilities with high-touch client hospitality, ensuring the safety of our staff, guests, and merchandise while delivering a seamless, elevated client experience. You will be a visible presence at the gallery, welcoming guests, managing appointments, and assisting with beverages and light hospitality needs, including coffee and champagne service.

Security & Safety
Monitor the entrance, gallery, and retail areas to deter theft, prevent loss, and maintain a secure environment. Conduct opening and closing security checks of the gallery. Remain calm, composed, and attentive in dynamic situations, responding discreetly to any incidents. Document incidents clearly and communicate with leadership or law enforcement if required. Guest Experience & Hospitality
Welcome clients and guests warmly and professionally, reflecting the elegance and hospitality of the JMM brand. Manage and moderate gallery traffic, especially during VIP appointments or events. Coordinate appointment-based visits, working with retail, gallery, and VIP teams. Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee and champagne, to guests as appropriate. Assist with light administrative tasks and other front-of-house operations as needed. Key Requirements
Valid Texas Security Guard License or ability to obtain one. 2+ years of experience in retail, hospitality, concierge, or corporate security roles (luxury or high-end environment preferred). Polished appearance and professional demeanor; comfortable with client-facing responsibilities. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills; fluency in English required. Ability to remain composed, observant, and attentive in dynamic environments. First Aid/CPR certification is a plus. Experience in luxury hospitality, gallery, or concierge roles is a strong advantage. Additional information :
