Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: CT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Licensed Radiologic Technologist Certifications: BLS, ARRT-R (CT) Preferred Must-Have: - Level 1 trauma experience and travel experience required. - Ability to perform venipuncture as required. - Skills in problem solving and managing multiple priorities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Description: Unit has 8 treatment areas. Candidates must float to cover other areas as needed. Mixed population from pediatrics to geriatrics. Busy OR and ER CTAs, hearts, and perfusion studies. Experience performing various imaging studies is required. Self-motivated individuals with strong customer service skills are preferred. Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care. Failure to comply will result in termination of contract. Work involves a variety of shifts and weekend or holiday requirements as necessary. Additional requests for time off are not approved after submission. Candidates will work in a high acuity environment and must possess excellent follow-up skills. EMR used is EPIC and PACS is McKesson. Applicants must be willing to take ownership of their projects. The department is fast-paced and busy, expecting team players who can adapt to shifting priorities.
