This is a Part-Time/Day Shift position at Providence Newberg Medical Center.
$4,000 Sign-on Bonus
available for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment, in addition to a fantastic benefits and compensation package that starts on your first day of employment. As a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound examinations based on physician orders, employing a range of complex ultrasound equipment. You will leverage your expertise in anatomy and physiology to objectively identify any presence or absence of disease. Your role will also involve assisting physicians with advanced echocardiography examinations, including: Transesophageal echocardiography Trans-catheter echo guided procedures Pericardiocentesis Echo guided myocardial biopsies Contrast enhanced exams Exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiography You will have the opportunity to modify procedures to adapt to special circumstances and deliver clinically valuable information in a cost-effective manner. National Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or equivalent credentials upon hire. National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Applied Science from a CAAHEP accredited school in Noninvasive Cardiovascular Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography. 1 year of experience performing cardiovascular ultrasound examinations or a minimum of 800 exams across all imaging modalities. Pediatric echocardiography experience. Familiarity with imaging support for advanced heart failure patients and mechanical support devices. Experience with echo guided trans-catheter procedures.
