Non-Management Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician II! Are you skilled in maintenance and looking to work in a luxurious environment? In this dynamic role, you will: Respond promptly to guest repair requests with professionalism and efficiency. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality. Visually inspect equipment, tools, and machines to identify maintenance needs. Maintain inventory and requisition parts and supplies to enable swift repairs. Engage in troubleshooting and repair of various systems including air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Communicate effectively with team members and other shifts regarding daily activities and maintenance issues. Utilize the Lockout/Tagout system for safety in all maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate proficiency in one area, above-average skills in two additional areas, and basic skills in others including MEP systems, kitchen equipment, and general building management. Assist with painting, drywall repair, and general housekeeping duties. Train and mentor less experienced staff to promote skill development within the team. Perform readings and rounds as the Engineer on Duty when required. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, ensuring a secure working environment. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, with vocational or technical training. At least 2 years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience. Experience in general maintenance and surface preparation, including painting. Valid Driver's License. Required Qualifications: Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification. Compliance with applicable state and federal certification requirements.
