We are looking for a dependable

Maintenance Technician

to join our manufacturing team. This position plays a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly, supporting production, and serving as a backup for the Mill Operator. You'll be hands-on with equipment and machinery every day, ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency across the facility.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will handle a wide range of responsibilities. These include installing, adjusting, and repairing production equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting PLC systems such as Siemens and Allen Bradley. You'll also conduct welding and cutting work, dismantle machinery to replace defective parts, install and test electrical components, and keep accurate records of repairs using maintenance software. Beyond technical repairs, you'll contribute to plant safety initiatives and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

We're seeking candidates with a high school diploma or GED and ideally some technical or vocational training. A strong mechanical aptitude is essential, along with the ability to read and interpret manuals, operate hand and power tools, and work with hydraulics, mechanics, and pumps. Prior experience with RS Logix, PLCs, or similar systems is highly valued. A valid driver's license is required, and availability on occasional Saturdays is expected. Above all, we're looking for someone who is committed to safety, reliability, and teamwork.

This role does involve physical activity, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting, so comfort with an active workday is important.

In return, we offer a highly competitive benefits package. You'll receive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with employer match, and company-paid life insurance, insurance, and AD&D coverage. Additional perks include flexible spending accounts, voluntary supplemental insurance options, generous paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and access to wellness and assistance programs. We also conduct yearly performance reviews to support your growth and development.

If you're ready to take on a key role in maintaining and improving plant operations while building a stable, long-term career, we'd love to hear from you.

Conducting background checks, employee eligibility verifications, and schedule pre-hire screening requirements, including but not limited to drug testing and physicals is one of the essential duties for this position.
