About The Position Job Title: X-Ray Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (12:00 PM - 12:00 AM) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: - Previous charge experience is not applicable - Experience with charting systems is required - Community hospital experience is preferred - Trauma Level II experience is preferred - Travel experience is highly preferred Description: The X-Ray Technologist will work three 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The shift time will be from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The position will include rotational call and holidays as assigned. The technologist will be responsible for performing various X-ray procedures for patients of all age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily patient census is approximately 125 with a variety of patient diagnoses. Special equipment includes digital portable X-ray systems and fluoroscopy suites. The technologist will be required to follow isolation precautions and perform bedside/portable procedures. Certification in BLS and ARRT is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong skill set in adult outpatient imaging, trauma lower extremity imaging, and experience with PACS systems.
