Salary Range $58752.00 - $74909.00 Salary
Description
General Responsibilities : Responsible for organizing and arranging items and materials in respective places in the warehouse. Duties include assembling, addressing, and shipping product or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for transport of products. Maintain and coordinate inventory levels and controls. Ensure compliance of safety procedures and practices.
Essential Job Functions: Coordinate shipments in conjunction with Customer Service, Planning, & Production Coordinate deliveries with raw material suppliers and Planning Cycle count inventory on a routine and planned basis Ensure that all documentation for shipping/receiving is complete and correct Inspect trailers for both receipts and shipments Load and/or unload trucks when necessary Stage raw materials and finished goods in designated areas Pack, palletize and wrap finished goods according to customer specification Maintain accurate inventory daily, weekly, and monthly and enter database Maintain clean, safe working environment at all times Coordinate with all personnel and management as necessary in a professional manner Adhere to all plant and departmental rules, policies and procedures Take any necessary steps to reduce or eliminate potential quality or safety issues Manage warehouse staff to complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals Other duties as assigned Work Environment:
Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling are required Lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force to move objects The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform activities such as operating forklift, viewing computer, and working within arm's reach The worker may be subject to outside environmental conditions during shipments The worker may be subject to hazards: proximity to moving forklift and stored chemicals Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent 1-2 years' warehouse experience Flexibility in schedule to accommodate incoming and outgoing shipments Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to use multiple programs such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's Degree Experience operating a forklift Experience scheduling shipments and/or deliveries with vendors
