Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technician

Join a leading provider in maternal fetal medicine and obstetric imaging! We are seeking a dedicated Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technician to become part of our dynamic team. Our practice is recognized for caring for high-risk pregnancies throughout North Carolina, providing crucial services such as advanced prenatal diagnostics and fetal care. Working Hours: Our Sonographers work 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling options available, including 5 eight-hour shifts or 4.4 nine-hour shifts. Incentives: This position is eligible for our Incentive Program, offering you wonderful options: $25,000 for a three-year commitment. $20,000 for a three-year commitment plus relocation assistance. Incentives are distributed in equal payments every six months throughout your commitment. Your Key Responsibilities Include: Assisting in invasive diagnostic techniques for maternal fetal ultrasound and providing training and standardization to residents. Consulting with patients on procedure compatibility and addressing any potential concerns. Independently performing ultrasound procedures, including complex examinations like fetal echocardiograms and growth assessments. Conducting diagnostic procedures and recording pertinent data for physician interpretation. Supporting supervising physicians during invasive procedures as necessary, ensuring all examinations provide comprehensive and accurate information. Recognizing and responding to abnormalities that warrant physician supervision during real-time scans. Image and Doppler signal acquisition while providing essential patient information for radiologist review. Communicate preliminary examination results to the radiologist and referring OB providers. Education Requirements:

Completion of a twelve-month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography/General Ultrasound or equivalent certificate program. Licensure/Certification Requirements:

Must be registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in OB, OB/GYN, and Fetal Echocardiography (FE). Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification is also required. Professional Experience Requirements:

Three years of experience performing complex OB/GYN or vascular scans is preferred. Why Join Us?
