JPI is seeking a Project Manager with HR Information Technology (HRIT) and workforce modernization experience to support ongoing efforts that enhance how the U.S. Coast Guard manages and integrates its human capital systems and data. In this role, you will coordinate day-to-day project activities, track schedules and deliverables, and help implement technology-enabled solutions that improve HR processes and mission performance.

This position is ideal for professionals with 5–7 years of project management experience who have supported HR or IT modernization efforts and are eager to apply their skills within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

This role requires U.S. Citizenship for Clearance eligibility and an onsite presence at the USCG St. Elizabeths campus three days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Support the planning and execution of HR systems and workforce modernization projects in coordination with Coast Guard stakeholders.

Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure tasks and deliverables are completed on time.

Facilitate communication between HR, IT, and program management teams to support integration, testing, and deployment activities.

Assist in documenting requirements, tracking progress, and identifying project risks or dependencies.

Prepare project reports, dashboards, and status updates to inform leadership and clients.

Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with USCG and JPI standards.

Contribute to process improvement and knowledge-sharing across the project team.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.

5–7 years of experience supporting or managing projects related to HR systems, data analytics, or workforce technology.

Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP HCM, or equivalent) and related data or process improvement initiatives.

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across diverse teams.

Experience working in or supporting federal or government programs .

PMP, CAPM, or Agile certification ( but not required).

U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
