$5,000 available for full-time positions Are you a dedicated Paramedic who is passionate about providing high-quality care? We invite you to apply and become part of our exceptional team that focuses on delivering compassionate service and both basic and advanced patient care. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate each emergency call to determine the most effective response, utilizing advanced Paramedic protocols. Apply your skills with medical equipment, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and intravenous fluids to provide top-tier medical assistance. Engage with patients and their families to provide reassurance and clarity about the care being administered. Lead the paramedic team at the scene, ensuring efficient unit management and patient care. Drive the ambulance in response to emergency calls. Collaborate respectably with fellow Paramedics and other healthcare and public safety professionals to ensure the best outcomes. Additional Responsibilities: Engage with community initiatives to foster strong relationships and uphold the positive image of AMR. Minimum Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Valid California Driver's License Ambulance Driver's License from DMV Medical Examiner's Card from DMV Current State of California Paramedic License Valid CPR Certification (American Heart Association ONLY, Health Care Provider format; no handwritten cards accepted) Current ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY, no handwritten cards accepted) Driving record that adheres to AMR’s Safety and Driving policy (proof required upon conditional employment) Completion of required ICS courses: IS-100B (ICS 100) IS-200B (ICS 200) IS-700A (NIMS) IS-800B (NIMS) Experience:
