Responsibilities Provide home health nursing care in the Wausau, WI area with possible float to Medford, Antigo, and WI Rapids Day shift with 8-hour assignments typically from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some flexibility based on census Average caseload is 20-25 patients with approximately 4.5 visits per day, travel distance varies from 25-60 miles daily Participate in an every 5th weekend and holiday rotation No on-call responsibilities Document care using OASIS (required) and Epic (preferred) EMRs Responsible for OASIS admissions, all time points, episode management, provider communication, coordination of care, and timely documentation Must demonstrate strong time management, adaptability, social skills, dependability, accountability, compassion, and a positive attitude May be placed on call during low census periods, with call back pay if called in Required to wear navy blue scrubs Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Holiday rotation is required Epic experience preferred Orientation week and certain holiday weeks may affect guaranteed hours Requirements Active WI or Compact RN license American Heart Association BLS certification Valid driver's license Minimum 2 years of home health RN experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Competency with OASIS documentation required; OASIS certification a plus Proficient in wound care, IV therapy, ports, lab draws, and chronic disease management Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625647.
