As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in improving, maintaining, and repairing all equipment used in our manufacturing, production, refrigeration, and packaging processes. You will troubleshoot mechanical and process issues, utilizing a proactive approach to ensure maximum operating efficiency and effectiveness. Your Responsibilities: Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities. Proactively manage all water treatment, refrigeration, boiler functions, and related equipment. Maintain regulatory and compliance records for all systems. Conduct routine and emergency maintenance across various systems in a multi-craft environment. Complete Preventative Maintenance (PM) and work orders in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager. Demonstrate and enforce a strong safety culture in the workplace. What You Bring: High School diploma/GED required. HVAC certification or related technical qualification preferred. Completion of Mechatronics Certifications Levels 1-4 is a plus. 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in food manufacturing maintenance is advantageous. Familiarity with Ammonia/HVAC and refrigeration systems. Strong knowledge of general mechanical systems. Proven troubleshooting and operational experience. Training in refrigeration and controls is beneficial. Understanding of Safe Quality Foods (SQF), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO), and Lean Manufacturing processes. Skills in MIG, TIG welding, metal fabrication, and repairs in food-grade applications are essential. Apply today and help us create a safe and efficient environment!
