Responsibilities Work in an MRI department performing both inpatient and outpatient scans Patient population includes adults, pediatrics, neonates, stroke, and trauma cases Role is almost exclusively pediatric MRI scanning Uses GE and Siemens equipment, including 1.5T and 3T MRI units Night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM No call required Floating to other qualified units or campuses may be required based on census needs EMR system is Epic; Epic experience is required Previous experience in a children's hospital setting is preferred Must be able to work with patients of all ages, including neonates and pediatric trauma Two professional references are required for consideration Orientation is held every Monday Pre-assignment modules and testing must be completed prior to start, with up to 16 hours reimbursed Travelers must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Candidates may be required to comply with annual module completion Staff are expected to perform only tasks for which they have demonstrated competency Requirements Current ARRT certification is required (ARMRIT not accepted) Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist Strong pediatric MRI experience required At least 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required Experience working with GE and Siemens MRI equipment License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627115.
