About the Position
We are excited to announce an opening for a Director of Nonprofit Operations, a pivotal role that will be instrumental in advancing our mission and managing all branches of our operations. The successful candidate will oversee a variety of key activities, including program management, membership engagement, marketing initiatives, community outreach, facilities management, safety protocols, and staff development.
A significant focus of this role will be leading our fundraising efforts, which include annual campaigns, grant proposals, and securing government contracts. As the public face of our organization, the Director will build and nurture relationships with various stakeholders, ensuring alignment between local strategies and organizational goals.
This position also entails motivating and guiding a high-performing team and advisory board, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
What We're Looking For
Applicants should possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, with a robust background in volunteer engagement, team management, marketing, and financial oversight. A proven track record in fundraising and grant management is essential, along with strong skills in relationship-building and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will be a capable organizational leader who can effectively inspire and manage a team.
Certification in organizational leadership is required within 3 years, with a preference for candidates who are already certified as team or multi-team leaders.
