Governmental Audit Manager
to join their growing team and lead impactful audit engagements that make a difference in the community.
In this role, youll oversee multiple government-focused audit projects, manage dynamic teams, and provide expert guidance to ensure compliance, accuracy, and excellence in every engagement. Lead and manage a portfolio of governmental audit engagements with precision and attention to detail. Supervise and mentor teams of 24 auditors, fostering professional growth and high performance. Ensure all audits are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards for Partner review. Communicate audit findings clearly and effectively to clients and governing bodies. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor. Travel to client sites across
Georgia and South Carolina
as needed. Provide ongoing training, guidance, and feedback to Interns and Staff to support career development. Stay current with industry standards, including
GAAS ,
GASB , and
GAAP . Qualifications: Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelors degree in
Accounting
or related field. Active
CPA license
required. Proven experience in
public accounting , preferably with a focus on
governmental audits . In-depth knowledge of
GAAS ,
GASB , and
GAAP
principles. Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously. Willingness to travel regionally as engagements require. Why is This a Great Opportunity: Why Youll Love This Role
