About the Role: This is a REMOTE position. The Associate Director of Field Medical Excellence (FME) will implement field medical functional strategy to enable high-quality, impactful customer engagements with a consistent approach worldwide. The Associate Director FME will also drive operational excellence across the regions. The Associate Director of FME will be a strategic, customer focused role driving excellence and innovation to enable a best-in-class organization. The role will require close collaboration with the Heads of Field Medical worldwide, Global Medical Strategy Teams, Global Medical Training, and Scientific Communications.

What You'll Do: Field Medical Strategy

-Implement established foundational functional strategies across all regions including Scientific Engagement Model, Medical Expert Engagement Planning, Coaching Framework, Field Impact Assessment, MSL functional onboarding, Clinical Trial Support Framework, etc. Drive continuous process improvement in established frameworks. Operational Excellence

-Implement consistent metrics framework including real time dashboard capabilities, support Veeva enhancements lead worldwide best practice sharing Regional Needs

- Partner with Director of FME to understand Regional needs/challenges, align on strategy/solutions/initiatives/projects and co-create throughout the process, Benchmarking and Impact -

Create external MSL benchmarking and innovative external impact assessment capabilities Cross-functional Alignment -

Partner with Global Medical Directors, Field Medical Heads, Global Training, Scientific Communications, Commercial Effectiveness, Legal, Compliance, etc on initiatives Digital/Technology-

Business owner of Field Medical tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness, including Medical Expert mapping and profiling tools, Field Medical CRM, territory planning tools, manager coaching tools, etc. Identify innovative solutions to solve business challenges. Policy -

Responsible to maintain field medical policy documents partnering with Heads of Field Medical, Legal, Compliance, etc. Insight topics

- Collaborate with Global Medical Directors, Medical Affairs Strategy Teams, and cross-functionally to ensure consistent insight topics of interest collected globally Innovation -

Identify and drive innovative approaches to customer engagement and impact. Keep abreast of industry and healthcare trends Who You Are:

Advanced degree required (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP-C ) 5+ years of Medical Affairs experience required including direct experience within Field Medical (at least 3 years) Deep understanding of healthcare landscape and evolving customer needs Forward looking with continuous process improvement mentality Ability to lead complex projects with a pragmatic approach Strategic thinking with ability to connect multiple components Leadership presence and ability to present and engage with senior leaders Ability to influence decision making Proven track record of effectively driving change Strong communication skills Experience applying technology to solve business problems Ability to build effective relationships with internal partners Enables creative problem solving, encourages unique solutions, and effectively solves challenges problems #LI-Remote

Pay Range: $147,000.00-206,333.00 Annual
