Requirements
Essential Functions:
Ensure the YMCA is attractive and clean by completing all duties listed on the daily schedule and maintains upkeep of assigned areas and equipment. Wet and dust mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling, window washing, and painting, vacuuming rooms, bathrooms, hallways, stairs, gym area and grounds. Record and report all needed repairs; repair as directed. Ensure YMCA building and property is secure during shift and report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor. Replace soap, paper towels, and other supplies. Set up and breakdown of all functions and events. Repair equipment as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Three (3) years or more, in general maintenance or related experience preferred. Ability to interpret written instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents. Ability to report and record maintenance requests. Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment. Understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment. Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
