We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Finance Manager
to oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning functions across our hospital and behavioral health programs. This is a key leadership role that supports organizational sustainability, compliance, and strategic growth in a mission-driven healthcare setting.
Position Summary
The Finance Manager will be responsible for the full cycle of budget development, financial forecasting, and variance analysis across multiple departments and service lines. This position collaborates closely with the Chief Financial Officer and department leadership to support data-informed decision-making, operational efficiency, and long-term financial health.
While healthcare experience is preferred, we welcome candidates with strong financial management backgrounds from other industries who can quickly adapt to the healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities Lead the development of annual operating and capital budgets for all departments Oversee quarterly forecasting processes and cost monitoring Analyze financial performance and provide variance reporting with actionable insights Create and maintain financial models and reporting tools to support leadership decisions Monitor position control and cost allocations to ensure budget accuracy Prepare financial plans for new initiatives, grants, and service line expansions Support department heads in understanding and managing their budgets Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and process improvements Ensure financial activities comply with internal policies and funder requirements Partner with the CFO to enhance financial systems and planning processes Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (required) Minimum of 5 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Experience in healthcare or hospital finance preferred but not required Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and pivot tables Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail Effective communication and organizational abilities Bilingual capabilities are a plus ADA & Work Conditions
Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via email Manual dexterity required for computer and data entry tasks May require sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds Work may be performed in both office and hospital environments
Compensation
This position offers a
competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year , based on experience and qualifications. Limited flexibility may be available for highly experienced candidates.
