Description

ETC is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our facility. This role ensures that all equipment, machinery, utilities, and building infrastructure operate efficiently, effectively, and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring timely completion of all repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.

Maintain and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches, fuses, hoses, wiring, and belts.

Perform minor painting, carpentry, and facility upkeep as needed.

Conduct basic repairs and maintenance of air conditioning units.

Manage maintenance budgets, purchase materials and equipment, and coordinate with vendors and contractors.

Ensure full compliance with OSHA, environmental, and safety regulations.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, inspections, and compliance documentation.

Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.

Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Collaborate effectively with team members and serve as an active member of the Safety Committee.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities described.

7 to 10 years of experience in maintenance roles within a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.

Certifications preferred but not required: OSHA 30, Electrical, or HVAC Certification.
