Dentist Job Duties:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatrics
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental software systems such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Completion of a residency program in dentistry preferred
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desired
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment
