Overview Recruiter — We are seeking a dynamic Recruiter based in Michigan, ideally located near one of our facilities (Plymouth, Wixom, Tawas, Lake Orion or Troy). This role focuses on full-cycle recruiting for hourly production roles. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sourcing top talent, building strong relationships with hiring managers, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
Your Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment for production (hourly) and entry level positions across US & Canada region (high volume)
Use various sourcing tactics like social media, database mining, and networking with professional organizations to identify talent
Seek out passive candidates through research, cold calling, networking, and referrals
Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and develop effective sourcing strategies
Prepare and post job openings, screen resumes, conduct and summarize phone screens, coordinate interviews, and facilitate candidate selection
Create, send & receive offers, initiate & monitor pre-employment background checks and complete pre-boarding to day one (including I-9s)
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws throughout the hiring process
Represent the company at career fairs and networking events
Collaborate with HR and TA on projects related to Veterans Program, Early Careers Program, etc.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the TA department
Supporting hiring needs for assigned roles
Apply and administer compliant recruitment life cycle
Partner with HR and Hiring Managers in support of hiring needs
Deliver a best in class hiring experience for external candidates
Your Profile Bachelor’s in HR, Business or related degree
3 years recruiting experience (with minimum 1 year in hourly recruiting)
Proven success in sourcing, cold calling and hiring for hourly roles (social media, database mining, and networking with professional organizations to identify talent)
Strong understanding of employment laws and recruiting best practices
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Occasional travel within region in support of hiring or team events
Ability to complete full cycle recruitment (from sourcing to day one)
Demonstrated proficiency with the standard features of various personal computer word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet etc)
Preferred Skills Staffing industry experience
SuccessFactors ATS system
AIRS certification | AI sourcing
Behavioral based interviewing
Bilingual (English | Spanish)
