is seeking a
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
to provide both
clinical and administrative leadership
during its startup phase and beyond. You’ll play a key role in the
launch, licensing, and credentialing
of the clinic while guiding a small, dedicated team of clinicians and behavioral health technicians (BHTs). This is an opportunity to influence clinical standards, mentor staff, and ensure exceptional quality of care for adults on their recovery journey.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Job Responsibilities
Provide clinical oversight and supervision for 2–3 Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) and other clinicians
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment plan reviews
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards of care
Support the clinic’s credentialing and licensing process
Collaborate with leadership to develop efficient workflows and uphold clinical excellence
Offer mentorship, training, and guidance to staff and interns
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Licensed
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
in Rhode Island
Minimum of
3 years
of post-licensure experience in behavioral health and/or substance use disorder treatment
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Compassionate, ethical, and team-oriented approach
The compensation scale listed is a general salary range and is not intended to represent the actual annual or hourly compensation rate for this role. An offer will be made to the selected candidate at the conclusion of the interview process based on their relevant experience and the responsibilities of the position.
