About this role Primarily responsible for providing ad hoc and recurring reports in support of the Global Quality Field Action (FA) process (i.e. recalls/removals, safety alerts, customer notifications, field corrections). Directly collaborates with divisional partners while providing product traceability and FA expertise to Divisions, FA Team and Regional FA Coordinators. Additionally, this candidate will be expected to recommend/implement process improvements to gain efficiency and compliance.
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Execute recurring and ad hoc reporting for PIRs and FAs (i.e. internal and external customers). Requires knowledge of BSC divisions, database entities, data access methodology, Microsoft Office Applications, and business specific applications such as FARS and SAP.
Perform data quality analysis and analyze results. Propose system and/or business process changes, data corrections, etc.
Provide training, direction and guidance to peers and other analysts according to established policies and management guidance.
Support FA team to assist with planning, communication, and execution strategy of the FA.
Support execution of approved FA plan. Assist with delivery of FA message(s) and/or retrieval activities.
Conduct post‑action reporting and support document archiving and FA closure.
Contribute to the development/improvement of department and corporate FA policies and procedures.
Manage all report requests per established processes.
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding FA product traceability in representing the associated division and region; this includes but is not limited to internal and external audits, and subject‑matter presentations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
0‑10% travel required.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong organizational, planning and management skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong problem solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to coordinate and manage across groups in a matrix organization.
Experience with SAP, Microsoft Word, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Preferred experience in medical device industry.
Compensation Minimum Salary: $72,800 Maximum Salary: $138,300
