Product Owner , you will manage and optimize a portfolio of products, driving successful delivery through cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders and engineering teams. As the Product Owner, you will own the product roadmap and backlog, prioritize new features, and ensure the product meets business and customer needs. This role requires deep understanding of agile methodologies, strong communication skills, and the ability to align cross-functional teams around product goals.

Key Responsibilities Develop and Maintain Product Roadmap & Backlog:

Collaboratively develop the product roadmap and maintain a prioritized backlog for your product portfolio.

Work with local and international stakeholders to define business cases for new features and capabilities.

Ensure alignment of priorities and vision through engagement with stakeholders.

Backlog Management and Agile Development:

Draft clear user stories, prioritize the backlog, and ensure that teams are set up to successfully complete their sprints.

Actively participate in the agile development process by attending stand-ups and overseeing planning and backlog refinement ceremonies.

Foster collaboration with engineering teams to ensure successful sprint completion.

Translate Strategy into Actionable Requirements:

Translate the product strategy into detailed technical and functional requirements.

Ensure requirements align with business goals and product vision, guiding engineering teams to deliver high-impact features.

Prioritize and Optimize Delivery:

Identify the highest priority work based on business impact and ensure that the most important work is delivered with measurable improvements.

Continuously optimize the backlog to address system defects, support issues, and inefficiencies.

Product Requirements and Documentation:

Write clear and concise product requirements that capture the vision, goals, and key elements of new features and product updates.

Ensure that all requirements are well-documented and communicated to relevant teams.

Ongoing Product Support and Optimization:

Actively support and maintain the systems and capabilities in your portfolio.

Promote fixes for frequent issues and inefficiencies by incorporating them into the backlog for ongoing optimization.

Ceremony Leadership and Collaboration:

Oversee agile ceremonies including planning and backlog refinement sessions, ensuring cross-functional teams are aligned on priorities and deliverables.

Collaborate effectively with engineering, QA, and other product teams to drive product success.

Product Expertise and Stakeholder Engagement:

Become an expert on the product(s) in your portfolio, understanding its features, limitations, and user needs.

Effectively communicate product updates, roadmaps, and priorities to stakeholders at all levels.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or similar experience

Freight, Pay & Audit experience preferrable.

Technical aptitude and advanced skill with Microsoft Office

Solid Excel will need an analytical approach to problem solving and leverage proficiency with Microsoft Excel (to include VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and conditional formatting)

Strong understanding of agile development methodologies, with experience in backlog management, user story writing, and sprint planning.

Proven ability to manage complex product roadmaps and align cross-functional teams.

Analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize work based on business impact.

Ability to write clear, concise product requirements that are easily understood by both technical and non-technical teams.
