Alternative Delivery Senior Project Manager
This position is a permanent role based out of Nashville, TN and requires overnight, out-of-town travel as needed.
Pay range: $125,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr
Job Description As an Alternative Delivery Senior Project Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison for clients and partners, ensuring effective communication and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. You will lead the procurement processes for alternative delivery projects and oversee the development of project plans, scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and partners, fostering strong relationships and maintaining client satisfaction.
Lead procurement processes including the preparation of Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), Responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Alternative Technical Concepts (ATCs).
Oversee the development of project plans, scope, schedule, budget, invoicing, and resource allocation.
Maintain responsibility for the financial performance of assigned projects.
Collaborate with project teams and provide major design recommendations as needed.
Coordinate activities of internal and external project teams.
Guide internal teams on best practices for alternative delivery, contract mechanisms, and compliance requirements.
Conduct site visits during construction as required.
Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned work.
Utilize personal work plans to manage assignments, adjusting timelines to meet project needs.
Ensure compliance with project management reporting requirements and QA/QC procedures.
Participate in marketing efforts and assist in developing client relationships.
Supervise team members and mentor staff.
Essential Skills
Project management experience.
Construction and engineering expertise, particularly in civil and transportation engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in relevant fields.
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing alternative delivery projects.
Strong understanding of Design-Build, P3, CMGC, and Progressive Design-Build methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering.
DBIA certification is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with DOT design criteria; experience with the Tennessee Department of Transportation is a plus.
Experience using OpenRoads Designer (ORD) for model development and plan production is a plus.
