Staffmark is hiring a Quality Control Inspector to ensure all parts, components, and assemblies meet customer and internal specifications. This role focuses on Final Inspections and First Article Inspections (FAI) using precision measuring tools and interpreting technical drawings.
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Responsibilities
Perform Final Inspections on completed products to verify compliance with specifications.
Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 or customer requirements.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
Accurately record inspection results and maintain proper documentation.
Identify and document nonconforming materials (NCRs).
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or QC certification preferred.
2+ years of QC inspection experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of FAI procedures and ability to read engineering drawings.
Proficient with standard inspection tools and measurement equipment.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and related software).
