Responsibilities
Deliver Level 2 support for application and infrastructure issues.
Escalate complex problems to Tier 3 support.
Assist in coordinating resolution efforts for major outages until Senior Incident Management takes over.
Ensure timely and accurate communication with management and staff during incidents.
Create, modify, and troubleshoot basic automation tasks using automation tools.
Collaborate with Systems Managers, Project Managers, and jurisdictional staff on projects.
Maintain and update operational documentation for Level 2 procedures.
Analyze system utilization reports to generate metrics and recommend improvements.
Support planning and deployment of new technologies with development teams and architects.
Recommend enhancements to operating systems and procedures.
Perform audit tasks including user log reviews, password changes, and change control.
Identify and propose workflow and process efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
4–6 years of experience in a data‑center technical role supporting a large‑scale Linux‑powered virtualized data center (RHEL certification preferred).
Working knowledge of ticketing systems such as JIRA, Service Now, Easy Vista, Salesforce.
Working knowledge of hyper‑converged infrastructures, Windows and Linux operating systems, user‑management tools (e.g., Open LDAP), client/server networking, scripting languages and tools (especially Python and Ansible), databases and basic SQL query skills, version control applications such as Git, SVN.
Experience supporting system monitoring toolkits such as Tivoli, ELK, etc.
Intermediate knowledge of VMware environments and monitoring tools, FTP/SFTP protocols, and command‑line proficiency on Unix/Linux (Red Hat)/AIX/VMS/DOS.
Intermediate knowledge of IT best practices and associated tools related to Incident, Change, Release, Audit, and Problem Management; ITIL Foundations certification, SOX audit experience, SOC audit experience is desirable.

The estimated starting salary range is $55,631 – $98,467. Base pay is part of our Total Rewards program. Eligible employees may receive additional compensation such as performance bonuses and long‑term incentives.
